Jaipur, Jul 18 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday interacted with villagers in Tilanesh village of Nagaur district to gather feedback on government schemes and understand local issues, officials said.
Sharma, who stayed overnight in the village on Friday, made a morning visit to farms and public places, where he interacted with residents and listened to their problems, suggestions and expectations.
According to officials, the chief minister first visited agricultural fields.
There, along with farmers, he reviewed crops and assessed farming conditions, yield, irrigation facilities, input costs and challenges faced by cultivators. He also joined farmers in weeding activities in the field.
During the interaction, Sharma encouraged farmers to adopt advanced and natural farming techniques and urged them to avail maximum benefits of the welfare schemes of the state and central governments.
He also sought feedback on the implementation and impact of these schemes.
The chief minister later walked through village lanes, meeting residents door-to-door.
He discussed health, nutrition, sanitation, and livelihood issues with women, and interacted with youth about education, skill development and employment opportunities.
Sharma said the state government will ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the last person and is continuously working to connect villages with the mainstream of development.
As part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, he planted a sapling near the embankment of Shivsagar pond. He also visited Charbhuja Nath temple and Veer Tejaji temple and prayed for the people's well-being and prosperity.
During a tea interaction with villagers, the chief minister listened to suggestions regarding the village's development and made key announcements for Tilanesh's overall progress, officials said. PTI AG ASD ASD
