Puducherry, Jun 16 (PTI) The Puducherry Cabinet led by Chief Minister N Rangasamy will be expanded on June 17 and three more ministers will be sworn in at a function to be held at Old Lok Niwas opposite Bharathi park here, official sources said on Tuesday. Lieutenant Governor K Kailashnathan would administer the oath of office and secrecy to V P Sivakolundhu, P Rajavelu and G N S Rajasekaran and this would establish the traditional six-member (including CM) Cabinet in Union Territory of Puducherry. The AINRC-led NDA won the April 9 election in the Union Territory. On May 13, Chief Minister N Rangasamy took oath of office for the fifth time. BJP legislature party leader A Namassivayam and AINRC legislator Malladi Krishna Rao were sworn in with him in the second NDA Government in Puducherry. President Droupadi Murmu appointed Rajavelu, Sivakolundhu, and G N S Rajasekaran ministers in Puducherry on the advice of the chief minister on June 8, a government notification said. Sivakolundhu was elected from Lawspet segment here while Rajavelu retained Nettapakkam (reserved) constituency in the election. Rajasekaran was elected from Tirunallar in Karaikal constituency. The portfolios would be allocated to all the six ministers on Wednesday, official sources said. PTI COR KH
