Chandigarh, Jul 9 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off India's first hydrogen-powered train from Jind railway station on July 17 and inaugurate several infrastructure projects across Haryana, state minister Krishan Kumar Bedi said on Thursday.
Bedi said the prime minister will also address a public rally and launch projects worth thousands of crores of rupees through virtual mode.
The projects include two Shri Ram Medical Colleges in Bhiwani and Narnaul, the Kurukshetra elevated railway track, the Ambala-Kala Amb Greenfield Corridor, the Haryana section of the Delhi-Katra Expressway and the Jind-Gohana NH-352A.
Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra and launch expansion works on key highways.
Bedi said the projects would improve healthcare and road connectivity, and create new opportunities for industrial and commercial growth in the state. PTI VSD KVK KVK
