According to the university, 93,033 candidates received seat allocations, including 42,019 male and 51,014 female candidates. The first round of allocations was made from 2,08,043 candidates who had successfully completed Phase II of the admission process by submitting their programme and college preferences. Overall, 2,18,284 candidates completed registration on the CSAS portal. A total of 15,942,385 unique college-programme preferences were considered during the allocation process, the university said in a notification. Among special category admissions, 1,243 single girl child candidates and 242 orphan candidates, including 109 male and 133 female applicants, received allocations. The university advised candidates to exercise the "upgrade" option, if they wish to be considered for a higher preference in subsequent rounds. Those opting for an upgrade can reorder their higher preferences multiple times until the notified deadline for the round. Admissions are being conducted on the basis of CUET-UG 2026 scores, subject to programme-specific eligibility criteria. The second allocation list is scheduled to be released on July 25. The university said admissions to postgraduate programmes are also underway. Following the completion of the third allocation round, a total of 10,240 candidates have been admitted to the two-year postgraduate programmes.
