Meghalaya CM visits TGiCCC, hails Telangana's tech-driven approach to public safety

Hyderabad, Jun 25 (PTI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday visited TGiCCC, the flagship technology and public safety hub of the Telangana Police here. He said that a team from Meghalaya would visit Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGiCCC), to study its functioning and explore the establishment of a similar Technology Fusion Centre in Meghalaya, an official release said. The Meghalaya CM, who was accompanied by Cyril V Darlong Diengdoh, Commissioner and Secretary, Industries Department, and Shivansh Awasthi, Joint Secretary, Chief Minister's Secretariat, was apprised of the advanced technological infrastructure and operational capabilities of TGiCCC, including the Technology Fusion Centre, the state-of-the-art Video Wall, Integrated Emergency Response Support Systems, and Disaster Management operations. Sangma appreciated Telangana's technology-driven approach to public safety and governance and expressed admiration for the Technology Fusion Centre and the state-of-the-art Video Wall. TGiCCC is dedicated to enhancing citizen safety through integrated emergency response, real-time monitoring, and data-driven policing. As one of India’s most advanced command and control facilities, TGiCCC seamlessly integrates policing, surveillance, communication, and emergency management functions to enable swift decision-making and coordinated action across the state, according to the Telangana Police website. Serving as the operational hub for the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-100/112), integrated video surveillance, and advanced analytics platforms, TGiCCC leverages cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and Geographic Information Systems to deliver real-time situational awareness, support proactive policing, and strengthen public safety, it said.
