Hyderabad E-Champions clinch inaugural TG20 Trophy

Hyderabad, Jul 13 (PTI) Hyderabad E-Champions beat Anvita Khammam Aces by six wickets to win the inaugural Sreenidhi University TG20 Trophy with skipper Abhirath Reddy's impressive knock of 48 being the highlight. E-Champions bowlers were also at the forefront in the summit clash restricting Aces to 157/8 with left-arm spinner Yashveer Goud bagging 3 for 17 during the final on Sunday. Dev Mehta (2/25), Shanmukha Ashwin (2/31) and Ajay Dev Goud (2/36) all chipped in with a couple of wickets apiece. In reply, skipper Reddy led the way with 48 off 30, with support from Shanmukha (36 off 21) and Vaishnav Reddy's unbeaten 41 off 28 to win with 15 balls to spare.
