Chandigarh, Jul 7 (PTI) The Haryana government has approved 13 healthcare institutions for Mahendragarh district to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in rural areas, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said on Tuesday.
She informed that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini approved the establishment of 12 new sub-health centres and the upgradation of the existing sub-health centre at Rambas into a primary health centre (PHC).
Rao said the government is committed to ensuring quality and modern healthcare services reach every citizen, particularly those living in rural areas.
The upgraded PHC at Rambas will provide improved treatment and outpatient services, reducing the need for residents to travel to nearby towns for common medical care.
The minister noted that the new sub-health centres will be established in the villages of Chhapra Salimpur, Kanina, Chhilro, Mundia Khera, Bhadf, Morund, Nayan, Rai Malikpur, Musnota, Chandpura, Nangal Nunia and Seka in Mahendragarh district.
She further stated that the new facilities will improve access to primary healthcare, immunisation, maternal and child health services, and other essential medical care for people living in remote villages.
Rao added that the initiative would strengthen the district's healthcare infrastructure through the deployment of additional healthcare personnel and help improve the quality of rural health services. PTI VSD MPL MPL
