Goa CM greets ABVP on foundation day, lauds role in nurturing patriotism among youth

Panaji, Jul 9 (PTI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday extended greetings to the members, karyakartas and alumni of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on the student organisation’s foundation day, praising it for “nurturing leadership and patriotism” among the youth. In a post on X, Sawant said that for decades, the ABVP has been a “force” in nurturing leadership, patriotism and social responsibility among students. He said the organisation, which is the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, through its commitment to nation-building, academic growth and youth empowerment, has inspired young minds to contribute meaningfully to society. The chief minister said he hoped that the ABVP would continue to empower the youth with the values of service, discipline and integrity, helping shape responsible citizens who would lead India towards a brighter and more developed future. “Heartiest greetings to all members, karyakartas and alumni of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on its Foundation Day,” said Sawant, who was associated with the organisation in his youth.
