Gangster shot dead in Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 17 (PTI) A 24-year-old man with a criminal history was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Delhi's Dayalpur area on Friday, police said. The deceased was identified as Sajid alias Aloo Dada. According to the police, information was received at Dayalpur police station at 6 pm that Sajid had been shot by an unidentified person near Dilshad Masjid in Old Mustafabad. He was rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital by his acquaintances, where doctors declared him brought dead. A police team immediately reached the crime scene. The Crime Team and forensic experts also inspected the spot and collected evidence to aid the investigation, police said. An FIR has been registered. During verification, police found that Sajid had a criminal history. Police said multiple teams have been formed to identify and trace the assailant. PTI BM NB NB
