Firan Technology Group launches facility at Hyderabad Airport

Hyderabad, Jun 29 (PTI) GHASL on Monday announced the launch of FTG Corporation's first manufacturing facility in India at Hyderabad Airport.
The facility, located at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park, was inaugurated in the presence of senior government representatives and leaders from GMR and Firan Technology Group, marking a significant milestone in strengthening India's position in the global aerospace manufacturing value chain, according to a press release.
GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd and manages the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
FTG's entry into India marks its expansion into its fourth global manufacturing location, following Canada, the United States and China, further underscoring India's growing attractiveness as a destination for high-precision aerospace electronics manufacturing, the release said.
The newly launched facility will focus on manufacturing advanced avionics and cockpit interface electronics for global aerospace and defence programmes.
Developed as a customised Build-to-Suit facility, the unit reflects GMR's capability to design, engineer and deliver world-class industrial infrastructure that meets stringent global Original Equipment Manufacturer standards, it added. PTI GDK SSK
