Farmer killed in lightning strike in UP

Balrampur (UP), Jul 10 (PTI) A 21-year-old farmer died after being struck by lightning in a paddy field here, an official said on Friday. The incident took place on Thursday. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Jayant said the deceased has been identified as Shiv Kumar Verma, a resident of Singahi Singror village. The body has been sent for postmortem examination.
