Chennai, Jul 8 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay made a surprise visit to the Government Hospital for Women and Children in Egmore on Wednesday and inspected there.
During his visit to the maternity and gynaecology departments, the Chief Minister stepped into the post-natal care ward to personally assess the facilities.
He cradled the newborn babies in his arms and interacted with their mothers, inquiring about their well-being.
Furthermore, he reviewed the overall infrastructure and the quality of medical amenities being provided to patients at the hospital. PTI SNR SNR ADB
