Bihar: Minor 'sexually assaulted' in Patna, one arrested

Patna, Jul 12 (PTI) A seven-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Beur area of Bihar’s Patna, police said on Sunday. The accused, who is also a resident of the locality, has been arrested, they said. According to a statement issued by the district police, the girl’s mother filed a complaint at Beur police station on Saturday evening, alleging that her daughter was sexually assaulted by a man from their neighborhood. “Based on her complaint, police registered a case and arrested the accused,” it said.
