Bihar: Girl climbs atop tower in Patna to seek meeting with boy

Patna, Jul 13 (PTI) A girl climbed atop a mobile phone tower in Bihar’s Patna district on Monday, demanding to meet a boy, police said. The incident took place in Naubatpur police station area of Patna district. Phulwari Sharif SDPO (2) Deepak Kumar said the girl came down after hours of persuasion. She was taken to Naubatpur police station for further investigation, Kumar said. He, however, did not provide more details about the girl or the incident. Meanwhile, ‘panchayat pramukh’ (local representative) Dharamdeo Paswan told PTI Video: “A girl from Panhara village had climbed atop the tower here in the morning. Asked about the reason, she mentioned the name of a boy from Baruna, and said she would come down only if he was called at the spot. Ultimately, the girl relented after the boy was called.” PTI SUK RBT
