Amaravati, Jul 12 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday visited his deputy Pawan Kalyan, who recently underwent rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder at a hospital in Mumbai, and wished him a speedy recovery. Naidu enquired about Kalyan's health and expressed hope that he would recover soon and resume his administrative responsibilities. Andhra Ministers N Narayana and Anagani Satya Prasad accompanied the CM during the visit. "Kalyan is recovering quickly and is keen to resume administrative duties at the earliest," Naidu told reporters after meeting the deputy CM. He said Kalyan had developed a problem in his shoulders and underwent surgery on his right shoulder, adding that doctors have advised him to take three weeks of rest. Noting that Kalyan continued to work despite minor health issues, Naidu said people who do not take adequate rest could develop unnecessary health complications. Kalyan works with great dedication for the people, the CM said and expressed hope that he would make a full recovery and resume his daily activities soon. He further said Kalyan has a minor problem in his other shoulder and doctors are examining whether it can be treated through physiotherapy without the need for surgery. Responding to a question on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's overseas visits, Naidu said the PM has elevated India's stature on the global stage and earned widespread respect across the world. Expressing confidence in PM Modi's vision, the Chief Minister said the efforts towards realising the goal of Viksit Bharat (developed India) would yield results and that under the Prime Minister's leadership, India would emerge as a leading global power.
