Amit Shah chairs meeting with Gujarat BJP leaders; CM Patel, state unit chief Vishwakarma attend

Gandhinagar, Jul 16 (PTI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Gujarat BJP headquarters 'Kamalam' here on Thursday and held a meeting with the state unit's top leadership. During his visit, Shah met the senior party leadership for nearly an hour and half, a source said. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi attended the meeting, along with state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma and other senior office bearers. Shah, who was in Ahmedabad to offer prayers at Lord Jagannath temple before the beginning of the 149th Rath Yatra early this morning, went to Kamalam late afternoon. Shah visited the temple at around 4 am to participate in the pre-dawn 'Mangla Aarti' before the idols were placed on their respective chariots. PTI KA PD BNM
