3 nabbed with brown sugar in Jharkhand's Chatra

Chatra, July 12 (PTI) Three persons were arrested with brown sugar in Jharkhand's Chatra district on Sunday, police said. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a motorcycle near Pirtand-Peksa-Giddhaur Main Road in the Giddhaur police station area, SDPO (Simaria) Nagaroje Shubham Bhausaheb said. "Three youths were riding the motorcycle and brown sugar worth Rs 5 lakh was found with them. They were heading towards Chauparan in neighbouring Hazaribag district," he said. Those arrested were identified as Shubham Kumar and Roshan Kumar of Tajpur in Chauparan, and Sumit Kumar of Mohanpur in Bihar's Gayaji district, he added.
