Guwahati, Jul 23 (PTI) Three suspected drug peddlers have been arrested with banned Yaba tablets worth Rs 2.4 crore in Assam’s Cachar district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Thursday. “Another major bust in our fight against drugs. @cacharpolice seized 24,000 suspected Yaba tablets worth around Rs 2.4 crore and apprehended three persons,” Sarma said in a post on X. He lauded the efforts of the state police in the drive against drugs. Yaba tablet is a highly addictive drug, containing a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine. PTI SSG RBT
