What you get
Andhra Pradesh's YSR Rythu Bharosa provides Rs 7,500/year state contribution (Rs 2,500 per crop season x 3 seasons) on top of the central PM-KISAN Rs 6,000/year, totalling Rs 13,500/year per eligible farmer. Payment in three instalments before Rabi (October), Kharif (May), and Yasangi (January) seasons. Tenant farmers (not just landowners) are also included under the AP scheme, a notable expansion from PM-KISAN eligibility. Over 57 lakh farmers covered.
Who can apply
All agricultural landowners and tenant farmers in Andhra Pradesh. Tenant farmers must be registered under AP Rights in Land and Crop Cultivators Rights Act. Excludes government employees, income tax payers, and large landowners (above 10 acres).
