Haryana Khadi Gramodyog Weaving Cooperative

Haryana has a significant tradition of khadi and handloom weaving supported by the Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board. Rural weaver communities in Panipat, Rewari, and Jhajjar produce khadi cotton fabric, woollen blankets, and durries. Government schemes provide charkha, loom, and yarn to weavers at subsidised rates. The Haryana government marks Khadi Utsav each year and exports khadi products through KVIC to international buyers seeking sustainable fabric.
