Kesar Mango Gir Saurashtra Gujarat

Kesar mango, grown in the foothills of Girnar in Junagadh and Amreli districts, is prized for its saffron-coloured pulp, low fibre content, and distinctive sweet fragrance. GI-tagged, it is Maharashtra and Gujarat's most exported mango variety. The Kesar season runs May–June and thousands of tribal and farm labourers are employed in harvesting, sorting, and packaging for export to UK, USA, and Gulf markets.
