Balasore Baleshwar Sea Fishing Udayagiri Coast Odisha

Balasore district on Odisha's northern coast has a significant marine fishing tradition with Jaliya Kaibarta fishers operating from Chandipur, Talasari, and Kansabahal beaches using country and mechanised boats to catch pomfret, surmai, and prawn in the Odisha-Bengal coastal waters.
