JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Commences Tomorrow: Admit Cards and Key Instructions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to begin the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 from April 2 to April 9, 2025. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, while Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) is scheduled for April 9. Admit cards for the exams on April 2, 3, and 4 have been released and are available for download on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Steps to Download Admit Cards

Candidates can follow these steps to obtain their admit cards:

1. Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Admit Card.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
4. Submit the details to view and download your admit card.

For candidates scheduled to appear on April 7, 8, and 9, admit cards are expected to be released three days before the respective exam dates.

Important Instructions for Candidates

NTA has issued several guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process:

• Reporting Time: Candidates should arrive at the examination center two hours before the commencement of the exam to accommodate security checks and seating arrangements.
  
• Seating Arrangements: Candidates must occupy their designated seats as per the seating plan. Unauthorized changes may lead to the cancellation of candidature.
  
• Document Requirements: It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, etc.). The name on the ID should match the name on the admit card.
  
• Prohibited Items: The following items are not allowed inside the examination hall:
  
  • Electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches)
  • Stationery items (pencil boxes, geometry boxes)
  • Handbags, purses
  • Textual materials (books, notes)
  • Food and water (loose or packed)
• Exam Materials: All necessary materials, including rough sheets and pens, will be provided at the examination center.
  
• Question Paper Verification: Upon logging into the computer-based test, ensure that the question paper displayed corresponds to your chosen subject. In case of discrepancies, immediately inform the invigilator.
  
• Post-Exam Protocol: After completing the exam, candidates must submit their admit cards in the designated drop box before leaving the examination hall. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of their answers.
