Speaking at the Security Council, Ambassador Harish criticized Pakistan for its persistent rhetoric on Jammu and Kashmir, stating, “India is compelled to note that the delegate of Pakistan has yet again resorted to unwarranted remarks on the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Such repeated references neither validate their illegal claims nor justify their state-sponsored cross-border terrorism.”
India’s representative emphasized that Pakistan’s focus on Kashmir in a discussion unrelated to the subject was an attempt to shift attention from pressing international concerns.
