शुद्ध रेशम की साड़ियों की कीमत 10,000 रुपये से 12,000 रुपये के बीच होती है । शुद्ध सूती साड़ियों का मूल्य 2,500 रुपये से 3,000 रुपये के बीच होता है । सबसे अच्छा कच्चा माल मुगा रेशम लखीमपुर से प्राप्त किया जाता है । उनका पूरा परिवार इस काम में भाग लेता हैः मां की पत्नी की साली और कर्मचारी ।
नयन जिस बोझ को वहन करते हैं, वह हर नवप्रवर्तक जानता हैः उनके डिजाइनों की नकल की जाती है, इससे पहले कि उन्हें उनके अपने के रूप में पहचाना जा सके । वह स्वतंत्र रूप से सिखाते हैं कि प्रतिभा को कभी भी विशेषाधिकार के पीछे नहीं रखा जाना चाहिए और उस दिन के सपने जिस दिन भारतीय हथकरघा वैश्विक मान्यता अर्जित करता है, जिसके वह हकदार है ।

Born in the heart of Kamrup district, Assam, I am Nayan Mani Kalita — a handloom textile artisan whose story is not just about fabric, but about heritage, identity, and an undying love for the loom.

I create a wide range of garments — from elegant salwar suits and festive traditional wear to the hand-woven saree.
