Free farm pond construction for Maharashtra farmers to harvest rainwater for irrigation.

What you get
100% subsidy for construction of farm ponds of sizes 100x100x3m, 75x75x3m, or 50x50x3m depending on land holding. The government provides all materials (earthwork, polythene lining) free of cost. Water stored in farm ponds supports irrigation for Rabi crops without dependency on canal water. Individual farmers can apply for ponds up to 500 cubic metre capacity.
Who can apply
Maharashtra farmers with agricultural land of minimum 0.6 hectares. Priority to small and marginal farmers. Land must be legally owned (7/12 extract required).
