What you get
Karnataka state government provides Rs 5,000/year direct income support (DBT) to all landowning farmers with agricultural landholding. Payment made in two instalments of Rs 2,500 each. The scheme is in addition to the central PM-KISAN scheme, giving eligible Karnataka farmers up to Rs 11,000/year total from state + central income support. For 2023-24, 65 lakh farmers were enrolled.
Who can apply
Farmers with agricultural land registered in their name in Karnataka. Land owner must be the primary cultivator. Tenant farmers and landless agricultural laborers are not eligible for Raitha Siri (covered under separate schemes).
