পুরীঃ 16 জুলাই ( পিটিআই ) বৃহস্পতিবার ওড়িশার পুরিতে রথযাত্রা উদযাপনের সময় অস্থায়ী ভিড়ের কারণে একজন মারা গেছেন এবং অনেকে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েছেন বলে সরকারি সূত্র জানিয়েছে ।
একটি সম্পর্কহীন ঘটনায় আরও একজন ব্যক্তি হৃদরোগে আক্রান্ত হয়ে মারা গেছেন বলে তারা জানিয়েছে ।
সমুদ্রতীরবর্তী মন্দির শহরে লক্ষ লক্ষ ভক্ত বার্ষিক রথযাত্রা উॎসবে যোগ দেন । বর্তমানে ভগবান বলভদ্র দেবী সুভদ্রা এবং ভগবান জগন্নাথের আনুষ্ঠানিক শোভাযাত্রা'পাহাড়ি'অনুষ্ঠান চলছে ।
