The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their wind – sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. The two set of islands became a union territory of the Republic of Indian in 1956. The territory is recognised for its indigeneous communities. Climate –
Andaman has a moderate temperature all through the year, with in the range of 23 degrees to 31 degrees celsius. From Mid – January to May sees the best weather. The monsoon hits around late May, lasting until the end of July, and is probably worst time to visit the islands – because of strong winds, frequent rain and low visibility underwater. It has a tropical climate, there are no severe climate conditions except the tropical storms and rains in late Summer and Monsoon.

Sea food is the best order of the day from upscale restaurants in Port Blair to local dhabas on Havelock, fish is famous. It’s well worth to eat it. Basic indian food is also available.
