Deir al-Balah (Gaza Strip), Apr 23 (AP) The death toll from an overnight Israeli strike on a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City has risen to 23, a health official said Wednesday.

Zaher al-Waheidi, the Gaza Health Ministry official in charge of records, said the casualties have been taken to the nearby Shifa Hospital.
