  • Bankey Bihari Temple-It was built by great saint and musician Swami Haridas (Guru of Tansen) in year 1864. Swami Haridas was a great devotee of Lord Krishna. He worshipped Lord Krishna as “Kunj Bihari” since he found the idol In Kadamba Groves. Kunj means groves.

The unusual feature about this temple is that the curtain is pulled to cover the idol and removed after every few seconds as it is believed the idol of Banke Bihari will make the onlooker unconscious if stared for a longer period.

  • Prem Mandir- Biggest attraction of Vrindavan. Build by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat by spending a whooping amount of 150 crore. It spreads on 54 acre of land.
  • Madan Mohan Temple, located near the Kali Ghat one of the oldest temples in Vrindavan.
  • Nidhi Van- There is a small temple known as Rang Mahal in Nidhivan also known as sleeping temple as Lord Krishna rested here with his beloved Radha after Ras leela., according to popular belief no one is allowed to stay here after dusk because lord visit the spot with radhaji.
  • Vishaka Kund- As you walk down further along the walls of Nidhi van, there is Vishaka Kund .Lord Krishna created this Kund to quench the thirst of Radha’s friend’s.
  • Keshi Ghat-Located at banks of sacred river Yamuna. Ghat/Bank was the place where Kanha took bath after slaying demon Keshi. That’s why lord is known as keshava (Slayer of Keshi.)

  • Radha Vallabh Temple-Swami Harivamsa Mahaprabhu who started Radha-Vallabha sect built this temple.
  • Chir Ghat- Place where Lord Krishna hid the gopis clothes, while they were bathing In River Yamuna.
