The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the admit card for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2025, commonly known as NDA 1 2025. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.

This examination is one of the most prestigious national-level defense entrance exams for candidates aspiring to join the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA and Indian Naval Academy (INA).
Exam Schedule and Vacancies
According to the official notification, the NDA 1 2025 exam will be conducted on April 13, 2025, across various centers in India. The examination will be held in two sessions:
- Mathematics Paper: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- General Ability Test (GAT): 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
This year, the UPSC has announced a total of 406 vacancies, including:
- 208 for the Army
- 42 for the Navy
- 120 for the Air Force (including Ground Duties)
- 36 for the Indian Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)
Steps to Download the Admit Card
Candidates must follow the steps below to download their NDA 1 2025 admit cards:
- Visit the official website at upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link that says “e-Admit Card: National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2025.”
- You will be redirected to a new page where you can log in either using your Registration ID or Roll Number.
- Enter your details along with the captcha code and click on “Submit.”
- Your admit card will appear on the screen. Verify all the information carefully.
- Download and print the admit card. It is advised to take multiple printouts for future reference.
Important Guidelines for Exam Day
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, or voter ID) to the examination center.
- It is recommended to reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
- Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly prohibited inside the exam premises.

General Instructions and Recommendations
- Candidates are advised to use the latest versions of browsers like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to avoid technical issues while downloading the admit card.
- The commission also urges aspirants to regularly check the official UPSC website for any updates or notifications regarding the exam.
- Use only black ballpoint pen to mark answers in the OMR sheet.
- Follow all COVID-19 precautions, if applicable, and maintain decorum at the examination venue.
