  • Employment Status: Only unemployed individuals who are not enrolled in any full-time academic program are eligible to apply. 

Internship Details

The PMIS offers a structured internship program with the following features:

  • Duration: Each internship spans 12 months, providing ample time for interns to immerse themselves in the industry and gain substantial experience. 
  • Stipend: Interns receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, with ₹4,500 contributed by the government through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and ₹500 provided by the host organization. 
  • One-Time Grant: Upon successful completion of the internship, interns are awarded a one-time grant of ₹6,000 as an acknowledgment of their dedication and hard work.

The application process for the PMIS is designed to be user-friendly and accessible:

1. Online Registration: Interested candidates must register through the official portal: pminternship.mca.gov.in. 

2. Profile Creation: Applicants need to provide personal, educational, and contact details to create a comprehensive profile.

3. Application Submission: After profile creation, candidates can browse available internship opportunities and apply to positions that align with their career aspirations.
