Vacancy Details
The UPPSC PCS 2025 examination offers a total of 200 vacancies, a slight decrease from the previous year’s 220 positions. These vacancies encompass a range of administrative roles, including:
- Deputy Collector
- Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)
- Block Development Officer
- Assistant Commissioner
- District Commandant Home Guards
- Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF)
- Range Forest Officer (RFO)
Additionally, there are 10 vacancies specifically for the positions of Assistant Conservator of Forest and Range Forest Officer.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2025. This implies that applicants should have been born between July 2, 1985, and July 1, 2004. Age relaxations are applicable as per Uttar Pradesh government norms for reserved categories.
Educational Qualifications
The educational requirements vary based on the specific post applied for. A general overview is as follows:
- Deputy Collector/Police Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Assistant Conservator of Forest: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Range Forest Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with at least two subjects like Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.
- Food Safety Officer: Bachelor’s in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Medicine, or equivalent.
- District Administrative Officer: Post-graduate in any discipline or Bachelor’s in Law.
- Labour Enforcement Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Law, or Social Work.
- Statistical Officer: Post-Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, or Commerce.
- District Audit Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
- Assistant Prosecution Officer: Law Graduate with working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.
- Technical Assistant (Geology): Post-Graduate in Geology.
