22 people injured after bus rams into roadside tree in Jharkhand’s Chatra
Chatra (Jharkhand), May 10 (PTI) At least 22 people were injured after a passenger bus hit a roadside tree in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Saturday, police said.
The incident occurred near Gandharia village under the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station around 10 am when the bus with passengers on board was on its way to Telaiya in Koderma district from Chatra, he said.
The officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, Bipin Kumar, said that there were no reports of any casualties.
“All the 22 injured people were admitted to the Sadar hospital in Chatra. Their condition was stated to be stable,” he said. PTI COR SAN SBN SBN
